Ken Sundman - General Manager

As a way to pay for college Ken started a small painting company in the Ironwood area. He and his crew painted residential homes. A finance major in college Ken began his career with Sherwin Williams in 1989 and worked as a store manager in 3 stores in the Mid-West and retired in 2015. Ken merged his business talent and his painting talent and formed this company as a sole owner in 2015. Ken is committed to giving customers clear and concise descriptions of work to be performed at their homes. He has built a relationship with all local GC’s since he moved to Marquette in 2001.

Scott Heikes - Site Foreman

Scott enlisted in the USAF in 1996 and began his career by painting aircraft. He transitioned to painting water tanks and towers with St Germain’s Sandblasting and Painting. In 2001 Scott joined National Coatings and began large commercial projects and was their lead foreman for 10 years and traveled extensively doing projects out west and downstate. In 2017 Scott joined Ken and Doris as partners in Professional Painting of Northern Michigan. As site-foreman he works with General Contractors to maximize efficient and quality work. As of 2021 Scott has 25 years of painting experience.

Doris Sundman - Office Manager

Doris left her retail career of 20 years to support her husband by overseeing the computer and paperwork side of the business. They have been married for 35 years.
